Bold Women – Passion and Resistance in Art
With our new exhibition, “Bold Women. Of Passion and Resistance in Art,” we focus on the outstanding achievements of pioneers of Classical Modernism and Post-War Art.
With courage and mastery, they gave expression to their creative ideas, earning themselves a recognized place in a male-dominated art world. They unwaveringly pursued their paths: defying conventional expectations and engaging in political activism. After war and hardship, they helped shape new artistic movements and resumed exhibiting their work successfully. The creative power and charisma of these avant-gardists, who became role models for many subsequent female artists, are evident in the presented paintings, prints, drawings, tapestries, and sculptures spanning six decades.
We warmly invite you and your friends to the opening of our exhibition on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 6:00 PM. The artist and fair share! activist Ines Doleschal will deliver the keynote address.
