Berlin Twice. Pictures of a Divided City

In the 30th year of the fall of the berlin wall our exhibition “Two Times Berlin. Glimpses of a City Divided“ present urban life in East and West Berlin. Through paintings, graphics and drawings renowned Berlin artists from East and West give us impressions of the city’s structures and daily live in the time before the reunification. The artists document the atmosphere of divided Berlin in city views and street scenes portrayed with affectionate or critical and distanced eyes. With the juxtaposition of art works from several decades in both parts of Berlin, this exhibition promises to be a place of exciting encounters.
